Amazing People

So we just got back from the CASE conference in Breckenridge. Might I say that it was a wonderful time. I just love networking events. Makes me almost want to be an event coordinator. We met a lot of cool and some not so cool people up there. As the sponsor for the event we hosted a casino night for all the administrators. We had professional dealers come in and teach us how to deal. I hosted a texas hold'em table at first and eventually replaced my co-worker on the black jack table. May I simply say that you really do get to see a different side of people when they are gambling. Love the psychology of it all.

And I also want to say that now that I have gotten to know some of the new hires I am getting even more excited for the fall season. They are pretty interesting characters and add a lot of flavor to the team. Two of them came with us to the conference. We all had a fun time at the after party where there was a live band and everything. So I say all that to say that the next morning we were eating breakfast and one of the girls said the funniest thing. She was mentioning how much we drank last night and mentioned how many brain cells we lost, and that you never get them back. We threw out some numbers like "millions" and "billions". She then proceeded to say, "I'm really mad, I want those back." I busted out laughing. I thought it was pretty funny. Anyhow, if you don't find it funny, maybe you just had to be there... ;-)
