So I happened to stumble upon this awesome photography blog that is actually a digital photography school. It has lots of helpful writing and great examples of photos for everyone to learn from. One thing I love about bloggers is that they have lists of everything. One guy wrote this list of 100 things he has learned about photography. I am loving it. I also found a link to a show of the best submitted photos to this blogging group called Strobist. Amazing! People are getting really good at this stuff and like the guys at Strobist said, the line between amateur and professional is so blurred they don't even try anymore.

So the slideshow made me want to get out there and shoot some new stuff. I decided to mess with a lot of settings on my camera and do some weird shots so let me know what you think...
So somewhere today I read about a guy who goes out in the streets of Melbourne and just takes pictures of the most interesting people he can find. He asks permission of course, but this has obviously made him a better photographer. I would like to do something similar here one of these days...
This is my dog Solo by the way...
